TO BECOME A TAX REMEDY CLIENT

To become a Tax Remedy, Inc. client please complete the two documents below. After opening the writeable PDF's complete the highlighted fields and print. Then sign at the bottom of both forms and return the completed documents.

The first is our Property Tax Consulting Agreement. Compensation to Tax Remedy, Inc., will be limited to a 1/3 contingency fee payable only from actual tax savings. You will keep $2 of every $3 in tax savings. There are no fees of any kind if we are unable to reduce your taxes.

The Appointment of Agent form is required by the appraisal district to authorize Tax Remedy, Inc. to represent you at property tax appeal hearings.  The Appointment of Agent form stays on file at the appraisal district until you revoke it or if you put a termination date at Step 5 on the form. Most clients leave this field blank so that Tax Remedy, Inc., will automatically file protest of your tax appraisal each year unless otherwise notified by you, the client. However, if you prefer a one year only authorization, we suggest making the termination date December 31 of the current year.

Any party having ownership of the property to be protested can sign the forms. Only one signature is needed.

Your PID (Property ID) is typically six digits long and may be found on your Notice of Appraised Value or by searching your last name at the appropriate appraisal district’s website.  For Travis County:

If you are unable to locate your Property ID, please fill in the address of the property you would like to be protested and Tax Remedy, Inc. will complete the form.
